Oh how I wish I captured more. Wandering Shimokitazawa, a Tokyo neighborhood renowned for its thrift stores and fashion, I hunted for astounding outfits. Without a lick of Japanese I asked unsuspecting fashionable civilians for flics as respectfully as I could, using hand motions and a wide smile. My goal was to get a mere five fits in an hour - a goal met right as the sun went down and a light rain commenced. During my inevitable return I will take more. Until then enjoy these photos of some of the cities finest.  •
